Grief can be the garden of compassion. If you keep your heart open through everything, your pain can become your greatest ally in your life’s search for love and wisdom. ~ Rumi
Grief support and consulting
I understand that many people, including environmental and animal advocates, are feeling a lot of grief, and some might be experiencing a “dark night of the soul” as we work through the enormous shifts taking place at this time. If that is the case, please contact me to discuss a reduced fee for services. I am here to help, and I don’t want costs to interfere with your growth. Thank you.

*DISCLAIMER: Friends, I want to make it clear that I am NOT a licensed mental health practitioner. When I worked for six years as a hospice medical social worker before I began teaching, we were required to have a MSW from an accredited university, but not a license. Having found grief, death and dying work to be my passion, I chose to pursue a doctoral degree in thanatology rather than become a licensed clinical social worker because I prefer supporting and educating people dealing with grief and dying instead of diagnosing them. In my experience and education, I view grief as a life issue and not a disorder. I have no desire to diagnose or label someone with a disorder.
