Ecological Grief®

Working through dying and death issues with Dr. Kevorkian, we learn that life-altering grief doesn’t need to debilitate us. With Dr. Kevorkian’s guidance, the deep and profound lessons surrounding death, dying and grief can positively change the way we approach life. ~Phoebe Greene  Linden, Independent Scholar and Wild Animal Advocate

Ecological grief® is the grief reaction stemming from the disconnection, and relational loss, from our natural world. Despite what some theorists believe about the plight of our environment, grief issues should and can be acknowledged.

Once a name is put to any type of symptom or feeling, people are generally able to move forward and begin the healing process. There is hope.

In 2007, Dr. Ani Kalayjian invited Dr. Kevorkian to the 60th Annual DPI/NGO Conference, Climate Change: How It Impacts Us All at the United Nations Headquarters in New York where Kriss discussed her research, and facilitated the networking breakfast meeting, Climate Change: Ethics and Accountability.
